Who We Are
Sabine County EMS is operated by the Sabine County Hospital District and provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance transport for citizens and visitors of Sabine County.
In the event of a medical emergency, dial "9-1-1".
Medical Direction
Sabine County EMS is under the medical direction of Dr. Gregory Backofen. Dr. Backofen has served Sabine County at the Toledo Bend Clinic and Sabine County Hospital since 2015. He joined the Sabine County EMS family as Medical Director in 2019.
